I have been taking my car to Alvins for more than a year now. They are completely professional and do a great job. I would advice to make an appointment before you go since things gets busy.

I've been coming to Alvin's Auto since 1996 for my 94' Camry, 96' Camry, 01' Lexus, 05' Lexus and 09" Camry. My favorite 96' camry has 387,000 miles and still running like new. Why? It's all due to Alvin's, and Tony's, autoshop. What brings me back has always been their professionalism, honesty, superb work, and their very reasonable price unrivaled anywhere else. We moved from South Bay to the Central Valley, and I drive all my cars to Alvin, including my family members, for service regardless of the distance. (I've tried local autoshop in my area, but always had recurring engine issues and charged alot more. When my cars go to Alvin, the problem is fixed and only come back for maintenance). They do the job right the first time and never do unnecessary ad-ons. I've read a few of the reviews here especially the car that has a dent or scratch? All of my cars are not only well taken care of in this autoshop, but NEVER experience dents/scratches for almost 18 years. I also know there are specialized auto mechanics next door. My 2001 Lexus with 257,000 miles needed a new transmission and was sent next door, and Alvin made sure they did a good job. When I took my Lexus back for regular maintenance, Tony actually checked the transmission and had the transmission people check it again. It just needed some readjustment, which I really didn't notice anything, and the car ran even smoothly. I was very impressed. After all these years, I can't thank you enough for Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen. Thank you so much!

Awesome service and very knowledgable staff. Anthony was great, and after a quick and speedy service on my acura integra, Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen is now my shop for life. I would easily recommend this shop to friends and family. Thanks guys!

I've been going to Alvin's for several months now. They provide great customer service. Anthony and Alvin are very helpful. They answered all my questions and walked me through what was needed to be fixed. They even inspected my car for free when other places would charge you a fee. They install OEM parts on your car so you don't have to worry about some knock-off brand, but they will install parts you provide in case you wanna save on some money. The shop is always busy so be sure to make an appointment before you go. You can drop off your car and come back at a later time. Too bad this place doesn't open up on weekends.

I started to notice that in my Isuzu Rodeo, while braking over speed bumps or uneven ground, I would lose brake power. Probably not the greatest sign. So I hopped on Yelp and looked a couple shops. Not only did Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen have great reviews, but their website also said they serviced Isuzu. So I decided to give it a try. Tony was there when I pulled up, and greeted me right away. I explained my problem and he was confident that he could help me out. In the end, it turned out that I just had a leaky wheel cylinder and he got me back on the road in no time. The price was right, the service was great, and he was very thorough - when I got my car back, I noticed that he had even put air into one of my tires that looked a little flat. I would definitely recommend Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen to any of my friends who had car problems.

Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen is an A+ business establishment. Customer care was top notch - very friendly and helpful staff. Most importantly, the folks here run an honest business, and that is so key in the automotive repair industry. Case in point - we brought our car in to get the brakes checked out due to some brake noise. We thought the brake pads might need to be changed. The tech (Anthony) checked it out, and confirmed the noise was caused by brake dust and no need to worry - plenty of brake pad left. I was in and out of there in less than half an hour. As busy as they are, I saw that they were accommodating to all their customers. The 5 star review is well deserved here.

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 My SO and I love Alvin's Auto!! Great auto body shop who know their stuff when it comes down to Toyota owned cars. We brought in our '06 Prius for an electrical problem with the signal light and electrical water pump. Of course, we brought in the car at Toyota Stevens Creek for a price quote which was way over our budget, plus they weren't as knowledgeable compared to Alvin's. Anthony, who helped us at the time, he was well rounded on Toyota cars and carefully inspected the car by showing us what were the problems and what should be done as opposed to Toyota Stevens Creek who didn't show us anything but a printed paper of things to get fixed. Alvin and the staff were friendly, honest and didn't pressure us into anything. After much consideration, we decided to get our car fixed here! Not only were they helpful, but they provide legitimate Toyota parts and not generic brands that will ruin your car! We're definitely coming here from now on for service and maintenance! Well priced and efficient!

Tony and the guys at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen are knowledgeable, straight forward and friendly as well. They don't send you to Disneyland with Mickey Mouse hack jobs, they definitely won't try to BS you if you aren't in the know, and they don't take shortcuts to do you like slam, bam, thank you maam. On top of the quality work these guys put out, they stay on top of your maintenance to minimize the probability of future unexpected auto problems that could be costly. Did I mention they also try to save you money on the bill if possible. I brought in my wife's 2001 Toyota Solara SLE V6 in for a Check Engine Light. Tony was on the scanner quickly and told me everything I needed to know about the code. Turns out I had a misfire code and one of the Direct Ignition Coils could possibly be the culprit. Tony told me he would do some more diagnosing and that the turn around time could possibly be 1-2 days depending on how many other cars need service. Tony called me the next day with an update and told me he was able to get to my car and that it was definitely a coil problem. He also let me know that he could get the part in ASAP and finish the repair and have it ready in a few hours. Now that's quick service. When I arrived to pick up the car, Tony and I went over the repair invoice and he brought to my attention that the quoted labor time ended up being less than actually needed for the repair and charged me less. What a guy....he could've easily got over on me but he kept it real. Man, he even replaced a taillight bulb that was out, at no cost!! It's rare that you get a such good hearted mechanic like that on the first visit. Trust me I've heard countless stories of dirty rotten lying hack job mechanics who are just out there to scam on you for the quick dollar. I too have also had my share of being had. It's good to know there are still some honest wrenches out there who thrive on repeat customers, who understand that taking care of a customer and going the extra mile can go a long way, and by putting out nothing but solid, quality service. Right on Tony, Alvin, J to the A and the rest of the crew at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen!!!

All the positive comments everyone else has written about this place are true. I know absolutely nothing about cars and I'm very paranoid about getting ripped off. They were really nice and very honest with pricing.
