My very old and very worn Lexus 350 was making noises from the rear of the car. I needed help quickly, and was able to get an appointment the next day for a diagnostic test. I was pleased to meet Mike, who was expecting me, and the office was neat, clean, and comfortable. Mike got on the test immediately and in a few hours sent me an exhaustive evauluation of the car, complete with photos of the problems and video and sound of the wheel issue. It is difficult to doubt or argue with such explicit evidence of malfunction. Mike and Alvin both were friendly, professional and courteous. I'd take my car to them again.

Most recently, I visited Alvin's Auto Center as I needed a front end alignment. The staff immediately noticed that my front left tire was so worn that you could see the wire in the tire. They were able to replace both front tires at a reasonable cost, which prevented having a major blowout on the road. So grateful for the attentiveness of the staff. I felt very taken care of by this team. I do plan on making this center my go to, for my car's maintenance.

Michael was extremely helpful and friendly. They were great about advising me on some extra work my car needed. I just went in for an oil change, but they took the time to check it over. They don't rush cars in and out, and they are meticulous. I was very impressed on my first visit; I think I've found my new regular mechanic!

This place is great, their prices are fair and they are super communicative. You get sent information on all the work that will be done and will update you on what has been completed. Great people all around.

My 2009 Lexus ES350 car suddenly developed a key recognition issue. Both my key and the spare key were not recognized. This led me to tow the car to two different automakers, who diagnosed a problem with the car's computer and recommended I take it to a Lexus dealership. I took it to the dealership, and they charged me around $270 for the diagnosis, $500 to change the battery, and $11,000 to change the whole computer of the car. That's crazy. I and the dealer guy agreed that the car was junk at that time. I was so depressed because of the car; it's been one month since then. Alvin Autoshop is my last hope. Tony is such a nice guy. He waited for me 30 minutes after the shop's closing time to help me check in for the car. After that, the procedure was very transparent, step by step. He answered all the questions and gave me solutions for such a complex case. Finally, after 3 weeks, he and his team fixed it with around $3000 for the part and $2500 for almost 3 weeks of work with the car, which was very reasonable. Last thing, thank you so much to Tony and his team; I definitely recommend it to anyone who has trouble with the car.

I’ve been going to the Milpitas location for years but needed to come to this other location to get my power seat repaired. They were able to get the part needed really quickly and charged me a reasonable price. I dread having to call and make an appointment for repairs but Alvin’s makes it really easy.
