San Jose Auto Repair

Everyone here is fantastic. I'm not extremely savvy with cars, but when it comes to repairs, this is the place to go. Tony has a great way of handling auto. Unlike other auto centers where the staff can be a little pushy and short with you, he explains what's going on in a personable matter and actually talks to you like a human being with a car problem, not another transaction. When they inspect your car, they won't add all these unnecessary things on your estimate to scare you if you drive your car without taking the services; they only say what's necessary, and maybe a few things to look out for in the near future. All in all, my experience here at Alvin's has been the most pleasant auto appointment I've had thus far. Highly recommended.

Tony and the crew over at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen are the best! I have taken my truck here two times now and both times I have left a happy customer. Their customer service and great work ethic separates them from the rest. If I ever have any problems with my truck I will only take it here. As I was driving into work I heard a constant loud warping sound near my passenger side tire. I knew something was up, so I took it in right when they opened. I told them what the problem was and they already had an idea of what was going on. I hung around the area and in less than an hour Tony called me back and knew what the problem was, (my wheel bearing was bad) We discussed the pricing which was MORE THAN FAIR. And told me they would need to order the part and it would be done in 3 hours. So I come back to the shop 2.5 hours later and surprisingly they were done! They explained everything that was done and they test drove it and everything checked out just fine. Tony and they guys are doing a hell of a job over at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen. Great customer service great work ethic and reasonable pricing. You can't ask for anything more! Thanks fellas!

I enjoy good customer service and this service center has been nothing but professional and knowledgable. It is the only auto service center that I have routinely used for preventative maintenance (PM). I highly recommend this auto shop for any (PM's) that you need help with.

My car needed an oil change, and I didn't want to take it to the dealership Bc they charge a lot . While searching on yelp I found this shop...and I'm glad I did! Service was awesome, not trying to up-sell products. My car has had an issue I've been meaning to get fixed but just haven't had the time. I didn't even ask here and the guys offered a reasonable price on their own so I shall defiantly be back! I appreciate the awesome service

I've been going to them for the past 5 years. They are so good at what they do. I go to them for all my car problems and oil changes.

I have had multiple repairs done at Alvin's as I have an older car (2001 Lexus GS300). They are very knowledgeable and I trust them to do a good job. I would definitely recommend them to others.

This the only auto shop i have trusted for the past 20 years or so.. They wont pressure you into uneccessary repairs unless your safety is at risk like bald tires or worn brakes...repairs are thorough and functional.. honest and dependable service.

I have been going to this shop for more than 2 years now. They accommodate all reasonable requests. And you know what, they know what they are doing!

We've been taking all our vehicles to Alvin's for several years and have always received top notch service, honest advice and recommendations. Alvin and Tony are courteous and men of integrity which is very hard to find these days in auto repair. On one occasion, I called Alvin's from out of state while on vacation and they provided immediate suggestions and then directed me to a local auto parts store.
