This the only auto shop i have trusted for the past 20 years or so.. They wont pressure you into uneccessary repairs unless your safety is at risk like bald tires or worn brakes...repairs are thorough and functional.. honest and dependable service.

Elite '2020 Elite '2020 I'm not too knowledgable with car stuff so I need to be able to trust my mechanic. I am soooo glad I took my car (2008 Honda CRV) here because my experience here was awesome! I had taken my car earlier to Autonation Honda for a problem that turned out to just be an issue with one of the indicators. While there, they of course ran a bunch of diagnostics tests on my car and told me what I needed to "fix". They estimated the cost to be about ~$2000 dollars. I decided to fact check this by going to a private auto stop instead. I found Alvin's on Yelp and decided to trust all my fellow yelpers and scheduled an appointment. Booking the appointment was easy and fast. I dropped off my car, they ran the evaluation, and it just turns out I needed to do a maintenance check since I was hitting 90K miles and replace a couple of things (brakes and filters). But Alvin's only charged me a fraction of what Honda would have charged me. I was so thankful that Alvin's was honest, straightforward, and efficient. I had my car back by the end of the day. I would highly recommend going to Alvin's for any of your car needs. They're honest and do an excellent job!

Great service on my car, although they do need to hire a front desk person.

I booked an appointment for my 30k mile service for my Acura TSX 2012. The entire process was a breeze with real professional service. I got my oil switched to full synthetic and air filter to K&N. They also accommodated my time for the service. My car feels great now. I would definitely recommend them.

I had my first experience with Alvin's and could quickly see why they have such great reviews. In particular, Anthony was really easy to work with, friendly, and honest. They purchased the German mechanic shop next door and kept all their mechanics, so they have experts for all types of cars. Highly recommend!

Personally everything about cars is beyond me, yet Anthony will always take the time to explain what car services are being done, what we can put off until next time, and what I need to do better as a car owner so my car doesn't crap out on me.. lol. so I learn a little something here and there. Great customer service, plus who doesn't love a good family business! I can see why it's been around for so long.

In late 80s me and my brother and I owned Toyota cars. Like every other car owner we wanted to find a good auto place that was reliable and and would do quality work. We were very lucky to find Alvin. He was very experienced, knowledgable about Toyota and as I recall, had recently opened his shop after working several years for a Toyota dealership. He also was very friendly and seemed to be an honest man. About 30 years later and owning at least 6 or 7 Toyotas in our family over this period and also referring Alvin to several of our friends, we all still have high respect for his work and trust him 100% every time we need to take our cars to him. I also need to mention Tony, Alvin's son whom is working along side his dad and in the past couple of years has been helping us with our car troubles. Tony is also very knowledgable and very friendly as well as being professional. We have always been very happy with the work he has provided. We highly recommend Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen!!!
