San Jose Auto Repair

I had been looking around yelp for a shop to get my brakes fixed as it was making noises. I ended up calling Monday morning to get info about their brakes service and how long it would take, the guy I spoke to was informative and was able to an appointment for me right away. Came in on Wednesday to drop off my car, shop was just starting to open, there was just a one machine who was able to help me drop off my car and leave my keys. I had a few other things to get changed and fixed with the brakes, but they communicated to me though out the day and let me know what needed to be done. The estimated time was same day at 12PM, but with the additional issues it was for the next day same time. They delivered on the time and I was able to pick up my car all fixed. Anthony was very nice through out the process for communicating what needed to be serviced. Side note. The shop to the left (Precision Transmission) of Alvin's auto shop, owner or worker seemed to have a parking spot that customers are suppose to know. Came off a bit rude and unprofessional.

They are the best. They work very efficiently. I always know that I can leave my car in their hands and they will take good care of it. Also they make suggestions of the things (repairs and services) the car might need in the future. They are worth every penny and when they are very busy they are worth waiting for.

Come to change my broke side mirror. Fast work and excellent service, highly recommended

This place has amazing CUSTOMER SERVICE a factor which unfortunately all the other shops I called did not have. I called several places (including M&S which is right next door) requesting a quote for a broken passenger side mirror on my Acura TSX and got weird attitudes and demands. I contacted Alvin's as my third choice and wish it had been first. Tony has great rapport and kept me in the loop with everything going on, he made two great suggestions to get my mirror fixed that way I could decide which I would like. I got the mirror replaced ASAP once the part came in and of course the work was done correctly for a fair price. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely call on them should I need their services again. Special shout out to Tony, you da man!

After getting run arounds from Mercedes service department at fletcher jones in Fremont...I finally looked up on yelp for auto repair..Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen came up. Tony answered the phone and he didn't try to sell or fool me. He was honest and explained that I have to bring in my car for service A and what I need in that service. Very impressed and happy...Micheal, Tony, Tom and everyone is super nice there, they provide excellent customer service...this is my new repair Auto center now...I just wish they open on Weekends. Apart from that I just Love this guys at Alvin's Auto Center -- Willow Glen

I called three auto repair shops because my front headlights went out suddenly. Alvin's was the only one that answered, and they said I could come in immediately to have them looked at. This made my decision very easy. Tom gave me the low down on what might be going on with my lights and the potential costs. I liked that he made sure to let me know that he wouldn't make any repairs without telling me what was wrong and what options I had available. It turned out to be a wiring issue that would usually cost a hefty sum to fix (and I was on a budget). Luckily, his tech figured out a way to do it for under $100, and Tom even gave me a first time customer discount. Thoroughly happy with my experience and I'll definitely be back next time I have an issue.

Went here for engine noise , side view mirror and brakes. Tom was very helpful. I urgently needed a rental car that day . They have a good deal with Hertz but that day Hertz was not picking up the phone so Tom drove me all the way to Hertz location and I got a rental car. Other shops were asking for more time to fix the car but Tom fixed it in 1 day at a very good price. What a nice experience!

Great costumer service. I'm definitely coming back for repairs and even oil change because I can trust them.
