I recently purchased a 2018 Lexus, and although low miles I wanted to have it serviced and not pay dealer price, so I went online. Alvin's had many good reviews, but closed on weekends, my days off from work. However, I was given veterans day off, so around noon I called Alvin's. I was told they are booked for the day and could i bring it in on Monday. I explained my situation and was told I'd get a call back in 15 if I can be squeezed in. I got a call from Anthony. Told me to be there by 3PM and he'll have a lift open to perform the service. Anthony was very proficient and efficient; AND, seeing I'm a veteran gave me a discount for veterans day. I highly recommend Alvin's on Lincoln in the Willow Glen district. Alvin's will be doing all my future needs on my Lexus.

Alvin and Tony run a very clean and competent repair shop. They offer fair estimates and perform timely service and repairs. My 4-runner was returned in excellent condition after the repairs were complete. This is a testament to the experienced technicians at Alvin's. I will return to Alvin's for my 4-Runners maintenance and repairs.

Needed a new transmission for my daughter's 2013 Versa. Tony was very helpful throughout the whole process. Everything went very well!

My neighbor, a long time customer of Alvin’s in Milpitas gave a favorable recommendation for Alvin’s Auto Center. Our son, visiting from Portland, OR noticed his car would misfire after a cold start. Alvin’s diagnosed the head gasket was beginning to fail. They pulled the engine, sent the heads out for resurfacing, installed the new gaskets and had his car ready in 5 business days. Great work, timely communication with txt’d pictures! Last week our Prius displayed the triangle of death on the dashboard. Called and spoke with Tony and dropped the car off on Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday I received and approved the estimate. The inverter’s cooling pump, heater bypass valve were removed & replaced. Fluids drained flushed and refilled. While the car was there I inquired how often Prius’s came in needing their catalytic converter replaced due to theft. They had four CAT Shields in stock. They replace 2-3 per week. I heard enough and had the CAT shield installed. Car was dropped off on Tuesday afternoon, it was ready by the following Tuesday. Pictures were texted of the leaks and catalytic work. Timely transparent communication which to me instills trust. I highly recommend Alvin’s Auto Center.
